Welcome to Mark's Country Market and Mark Shermer. Mark began his career as an apprentice meat cutter in a local grocery store.
After graduation, Mark worked at a large butcher shop and in 1986 started Mark's Country Market, 9-miles south of Cook, MN.
Mark's Country Market brings meat back to the basics -- FARM to CUSTOMER. Most of our products are locally raised,
chemical-free and range fed. Local farmers raise the beef, pork and sheep. Mark raises chickens, complete
with farm fresh eggs, and turkeys. Just purchase the animal (Mark can take care of that for you) and Mark will
process it to your specifications. Mark also has available locally grown vegetables when they are in season.
